The study deals with the design of a new square in the village of Modletice, and urban planning of adjacent residential development. In recent years, the village has experienced significant growth, both in terms of new houses and increasing population. Due to this reason, a need arose for a new public space - a square, which should serve as a meeting place for residents, and as a center of cultural and social life. The aim of this project was to create a center that offers basic leisure activities to its residents without a need to travel to the capital city, and to establish new residential developments in the immediate area. The project with an area of 13000 sqm includes urban, commercial and public facilities, while also focusing on expanding leisure opportunities.
