GeddesKanka was the architect appointed to design the interior of these new offices in the landmark Florentinum in Prague. The design is based on an industrial look, with exposed blue-painted steel work (the company colour) and a concrete face. It includes a built-in mezzanine to give an additional usable area that also enables separation into individual working zones.
The brief asked for open space with a number of living space areas – these are indicated by using a different (orange) carpet pattern. It also needed to have a ‘BuzziSpace’ acoustic interior fit out to allow for a more comfortable working environment and had to incorporate the building’s developer’s overall standards.
