The private residence was designed in the spirit of rural Tuscan houses, according to the investor’s specification. A simple object with a rectangular plan is vertically divided into a higher and lower part. Traditional materials are used in combination with modern construction requirements. Along with a summer kitchen, a swimming biotope and detached garages with a garden house, the residence is situated in a challenging terrain, maximizing its response to the plot’s geomorphology, making an optimal use of it. To achieve this, numerous landscaping works needed to be done, including several retaining walls. The design emphasizes traditional materials, such as stone, ceramic roof tiles, solid wood and plaster.
